HEATTEC Low Density Cartridge Heaters are also made of helically wound nickel chrome resistance evenly stretched and placed in ceramic insulators. It is then placed inside Brass or SS 304 tube. Magnesium oxide powder of high quality is filled inside the ceramic conductors. This would help to increase the thermal conductivity, dielectric strength and heater life.

To increase the life of the heater, the clearance between the heater and bore diameter should be less. The inner diameter of the hole can be between 0.15mm and 0.30 mm larger than the cartridge diameter.
